REVIEW: Human Nature’s 100% Natural Safe Block

As the rainy season draws near, sun lovers continue to bask with what is remaining of the summer heat. Beach resorts are still packed and thriving. Those who missed out on the hottest days try to cram their vacation into what’s left of May or even try extend their summer well into June. But whichever month we please, be it March, April, May, or June, the fact is, summer heat can be as harsh as the rolling waves of the sea. Protection against the sun’s rays is not a question but a necessity and with all the sunblock varieties that may be found in department stores, how does one even get to choose?

Human Nature’s Safe Block is 100% natural as with almost all of Human Nature’s products. Meaning to say, Human Nature avoided adding chemicals and artificial ingredients that most often cause skin irritation or lead to other illnesses as such ingredients are easily absorbed by the skin.

fate

I believe in fate, in destiny. I believe that some things had to happen for a determined result to occur. No matter what happens, no matter how hard you resist, it will always find a way to meet that certain end.

This is one instance I could think of where the end would justify the means. The ‘end’ is just the beginning of the journey when you put fate in play. You’ll get there eventually, but how smooth or rough the ‘getting there’ is, it’s what gives value to that end. Depending on your journey, the end could be good or bad for you.

Additionally, I don’t think of only one end but many. Like chapters of a novel, the ‘end’ I’m speaking of are important points/events in life that mark the end of a life’s chapter and the beginning of a new one. Each chapter has a story that leads to the next. Each one is a journey in the vast journey of life. When we take our first step, when we reach puberty, when we fall in love, when we move out, when we suffer a loss, etc.

Finally, these ends happen the way they will because of the choices that we’ve done leading up to that end. That’s why each end can be good or bad for you, depending on how you’ve made your choices. You can prolong a certain end or shorten it, but it will happen.

So to answer today’s Daily Prompt in a very roundabout and almost-off-topic kind of way, my answer would be YES.

The LORD has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil. – Proverbs 16:4

Music Mondays: The Woman I Love (Jason Mraz)

For this week’s Music Mondays, I’m grabbing Jason Mraz’s The Woman I Love.

Jason Mraz has always been my go-to artist when it comes to feel good music. Ever since my college friend introduced me to You and I Both, I’ve been hooked on Jason Mraz. I know most of his songs and have favorites that have not even been played on the radio.

Next to my all time crush Jackie Chan (another “J”), Jason Mraz would be my dream. =”>

Like Sara Bareilles, I also think Jason Mraz is an old soul. He’s even a vegan and practices yoga (not that this proves anything). Still, my admiration for him is such that I swore not to go to any concert unless my first concert would be his.

Ramon and I were supposed to go to Jason Mraz’s concert last 14 May 2013. We bought VIP tickets. Unfortunately, it was my 4th day at the hospital. The doctor didn’t want to have me discharged for the night to attend his concert. In the end, I was forced to have our VIP tickets sold. I hated the world that night. ='(

Moving on, the reason why I chose this song as my first Jason Mraz song for Music Mondays is due to the fact that at the time I was listening to his 4th album (Love is a Four Letter Word), by the time I got to this song, I got curious whether he’s in love. As it is, the song’s lyrics and melody is filled with good emotion that I couldn’t help but feel loved, as if I was the “woman”. The fact that the concept for the music video was sourced from fans on how they would describe the woman they love also doesn’t hurt.
